Not really possible to release him after this season due to all the guaranteed dollars still owed. Why essentially pay him $34M not to play for you?

Dolphins and Suh should be ok with a new coach. I'm not a fan of Suh's after he left the Lions, but he still has some quality years left IMO.

yeah, 49ers' front office did an excellent job with Kaepernick's contract. he will be cut after this season with no financial ramifications and they'll give the younger and dirt cheap Gabbert a shot next year.

Vernon Davis and Boldin will be gone next year as well. 49ers in a complete rebuild, they're horrific.

There was very little to like today as a Miami fan. The Jets did their best to try to keep them in the game but the Dolphins non-interest in the game made sure the Jets kept the lead. There has to be some serious changes the next couple weeks because the Dolphins should not look this pathetic with some of the talent they have on this team.

I agree after all those retirements we should of started the rebuild this year. If we cut Kap after this year 49ers will have about 60 mill in Cap with with Cap we will have around 40-45 mill next year. So we can bounce back quick if we want.
