One will play all night and continue the next day with a 2nd baseman pitching.

The other will have OT and allow a team to win because they are good enough to simply go down and score a TD. And be criticised for it.

One can also end in a tie. And I read somewhere that tying is like kissing your sister?

I have gotten a A on everything so far. A B on one test. The only time I got anything under 88 was once. I got all As on my history essay and had a 98 average accumulate score in psychology. Ntm I moved out of math courses way early.
Keep it up.

Baseball would be more like football if each team only had 1 hitter and a bunch of pinch runners.

The QB warps football

See in baseball I thought the pitcher is the QB equivalent, even though the pitcher plays on the defensive side.

Baseball is not timed. Football has a time limit (unless in the postseason)

In baseball in extra innings both teams will get a chance to score/play offense.

In football in sudden death both teams may not get a chance to play offense.

I am not so sure that's totally wrong on a given day, actually. If you made Clayton Kershaw play 162 games for shits and giggles and pretend his arm doesn't fall off, Kershaw would be at around ~40 fWAR. Roughly 5 times what a typical mvp caliber position player would be at. For an average pitcher in the same exercise (a mythical 2 WAR pitcher) it'd be 10 WAR. Which is on the higher end for an MVP season. The fact there have been MVP pitchers even still in the modern era of baseball is pretty telling of how impactful a starting pitcher can be on a given day. Despite playing only once every 5 days.

Also, defense in this case as you're describing it would be better described as run suppression. Defense in the baseball context is synonomous with fielding for the most part.

It'd kind of like be having 6 quarterbacks, and starting 5 of them, with a bunch of other guys with quarterback in their background, but only run niche plays like wildcat formation or something like that.

In the above scenario lets hope Clayton is Peyton Manning and the Halos would be the Pats.

Here's what I got so far. NFL is faster paced, NFL teams have more chances to keep a drive alive than MLB teams do an inning, MLB teams play more days per week, MLB is mostly cable while NFL is mostly national broadcast or on local affiliates. I need a fifth point. Obviously parity would be one but recently MLB's been better and last year because Manning retiring and Denver, Cincy, Carolina, and Arizona all missed playoffs there was more parity in NFL.

What class is this for? I think it makes a pretty big difference

I'd go with guaranteed vs non-guaranteed contracts. You could easily write a few paragraphs on that without looking up much other than a few specific contracts.

Also your point number 2 seems off. Baseball has more chances to keep an inning alive. You can foul a ball forever. Each pitch is the play in baseball. Not each at bat.

Someone's already mentioned this maybe, but baseball is the only team sport in which the defense has control of the ball.

With few exceptions, all player contracts in MLB are guaranteed.

The better team in MLB wins less often than their NFL counterparts. This means more variance and deviation from median total talent levels. Or as some might call it- parity; a term you'll want to define carefully.

Player pool is mostly different. MLB draws internationally with a non-uniform draft; Japan, Cuba, Dominican Republic, etc. With the exception of Canada, the NFL almost exclusively draws from the United States and in a uniform draft.

no salary cap in baseball, there's a farm system in baseball, players union is much stronger in baseball, international scouting is necessary in baseball, no random drug testing in baseball for pot (players union).
