You're so awesome to be a fan of them! Even though every team in the division has been to a WS more recently.
Is it fun to live in the past? And being a Dodger fan doesn't make me awesome, being right about the Diamondbacks being overrated makes me awesome.

Your obsession with Arizona is borderline creepy. They're the fucking Diamondbacks. No one is obsessed with them... Except you apparently.

It is pretty sad, not even Dbacks fans give a shit about the Dbacks.

Hahaha damn you don't even take your own team seriously? Here's a Dbacks' "fan" referring to his team like they play in AAA.

Not all of us cower over our keyboards 24/7 laughing about the shitty dbacks. I have a life. It took me 17 hours to come back to this site and read your dumb post.

Dodgers are the new Yankees. Spend all that money only to choke when it matters.

Dbacks suck. I get it. But the Dodgers aren't who I wish they were.

As I recall you all were predicting, or should I say hoping for the NL West to be a 2 team race between the Giants and Dbacks. Well, Dbacks fans got one of those teams right. We're doing a lot better than 'Zona fans thought. But give Friedman and the front office some time to get past the Ned Colleti deals and we'll see who's spending more effectively.

there's definitely some good pieces in Arizona (Greinke, Pollock, Goldschmidt, Lamb). It just depends on how Ray/Bradley/Miller IMO. Ray has some pretty good peripherals despite the high ERA, including an 11.31 K/9. Bradley's command is still pretty iffy (especially with the walks), but he's shown considerable improvement from last year. There's a good amount of risk with that rotation, but I think the potential's there for them to have a pretty good rotation.

that front office is a flat out embarrassment though

u think:suds:

According to Bob Nightengale of USA Today, Diamondbacks ownership shot down a trade at the non-waiver deadline that would have sent Shelby Miller to the Marlins.

Nightengale's source claims that owner Ken Kendrick and president Derrick Hall intervened on the deal because it "just wouldn't look good" after what the Snakes had to give up for Miller last winter. Diamondbacks ownership also reportedly vetoed a plan to replace manager Chip Hale this summer with Triple-A skipper Phil Nevin -- a plan devised by chief baseball officer Tony La Russa and general manager Dave Stewart. This whole thing's a mess. We wouldn't be surprised to see a major front-office shakeup this fall in Arizona.
