The Original Husker+ Fan
I am going to sound like a metrosexual hipster, but I quit carbonated soda two weeks ago in a drive to shed a few pounds and I have never felt better. Very well could be that I'm drinking more water now instead, but after drinking 1-2 soda's a day I'm already down 3 pounds in just 10 days. I've done nothing but cut out cokes. Still drink coffee.
I still drink soda on Saturdays but it's water all other times. I'm down 21 pounds in 5 weeks. It really makes a difference.
