Do you care about anything in life other than College Football?

At the place I worked at in College they wanted me to work Saturdays and I was like "woah woah woah there, cowwwwboyyyyyyyyy......College Football is that day."

They said "who cares."

So I quickly, off the top of my head, made up a story how my loving Grandma bought me season tickets to all Nebraska football games both home and away. They ended up letting me work Mon-Fri.

Yeah and it's a terrible misquote of the real one Marines actually say.

The real order is: God, Country, Corps, Family and Self. But often only the first 3 are cited.

Ask a real marine what they think of the quote in that movie.

Nothing comes before God ever. I can only guess the movie switched it up as part of the whole things gone wrong deal if done on purpose.

I've done that. I had season tickets for about 15 years and I would put in my request for days off as soon as I got my tix. Well, my GM gave me all the days I asked for, then the company brought in a new GM and he made a new schedule. When i presented him with my request and the fact that I already had the days off, he basically told me tough shit. So I told him, "Good luck with the kitchen, asshole" and walked out. Alright, I didn't say asshole, I just said good luck with the kitchen. I was in my 20's and didn't give a fuck.

Looks like BK survived, They're buying Tim Horton's.
