It does seem late in the game for this to happen.

on that note ... more Fehr shenanigans ... nhlpa arriving 15 minutes late to the meetings today :L

theres some nice goodwill ... make the owners wait ... again!

I just don't like the fact that the NHLPA is introducing a new component for HRR (although I do think it does have some merit). I thought that was one issue that had already been put to bed.

Kind of a dick move by the PA.
NHL tried early to chance what was in HRR and the players got upset. Remember all the players saying that sure 50 % sounds fair but 50% of what
So the league said ok HRR will not change if that will help a deal get made, back in September. For the PA to now try and change HRR is either them trying to cancel the season or something they will give up in order to get something else(escrow cap?)

Okay then! RT @dshoalts: Just told NHLPA never considered or even discussed asking for a share of future expansion or relocation money.

It's Allan Walsh, but if true, this is pretty interesting:

They are not given access to the 288 pages. That's the point. They get a skeleton summary with no details. @GagnonFrancois

Allan Walsh ‏@walsha
NHL Team Executive: "We don't know what's in the 288 pages the league proposed. Every one of my players do."

‏@walsha
NHL Team Executive: "Do you understand how infuriating it is for me to have to call a player for a negotiation update?"

‏@walsha
NHL team executive furious that the guys who build teams, know CBA and business inside out completely frozen out by Bettman.

@walsha
NHL team executive said all they get are skeleton memos from NHL-NY with no real info. He said he's getting all his info from his players.

‏@walsha
Talked to NHL team executive this morning who was furious. He was raging that Bettman refuses to consult or update teams on negotiations.(1)

I truly believe Bettman is trying to destroy the league. I hope he's fired, SOON.

@RealKyper: #NHL has new #NHLPA proposal and now reviewing it internally. Hearing a few tweaks in offer but sounding like no major changes as of now.

I'm hopeful that a deal can still get done, but it won't be before January 11th.

Does this mean the PA just submitted the same offer as last time
Or
The PA made some "minor" tweaks to the league offer.
And what is a minor tweak? Cap from 60.72 mil to 607.2 mil.

I assumed tweaks to the league's offer, but now I'm second guessing myself

Don't the Oilers have the 1st pick locked up already? Didn't Lowbelini already make reservations for the table closest to the podium on draft night?:D:

I'm actually starting to get a little worried, between RNH being all-world at the WJHC and Dubnyk playing well at the Spengler Cup, the Oil just might be able to pull themselves out of the draft lottery.
