When I found out that he was involved I knew we were in trouble. I don't like Bettman but feel that Fehr is a major problem. It just makes me sick that I KNEW this was going to happen when the cap went way up too fast and the asinine contract lengths were handed out to circumvent the cap.
It suck's !!
You were right on that one from the get go. I remember seeing you post about it right after the last lockout ended and I though "probably an over reaction" but you had it right.
I think that those two things need to be fixed to keep costs consistent and the contract lengths got way out of hand. Unfortunately I have little faith in the leadership on both sides to get this done.

Fuck you all along with the NHL. I hope you all have a very uncomfortable and extreme case of constipation tonight.

Hey!...I'll have you know I spent a good 5 minutes 'shopping that pic.
So you're saying there's a chance?

From the first article in moog's post...
"Once we made clear that ... we had to get our union leadership, that we've hired for this, in the room, there was just a very big change," Hainsey said on Thursday, after talks broke down. "It was alarming, and I was told that if we were going to do that, it was possibly a dealbreaker. That was made clear last night. It was confusing, because we kind of agreed that we were moving toward each other, and we weren't that far apart. So, it's confusing for the players to think that we were supposed to finish this ourselves."
Hainsey was then asked to confirm, point blank, what he had just said: The owners told you that bringing Don Fehr into the room would be a dealbreaker for the progress you had achieved?
"That's correct," Hainsey said.
I'm not sure who or what to believe anymore, but if the above is true, it's pretty amazing how much Fehr has gotten to not only Bettman, but some of the owners as well.
If a team has to fold after this dispute & the Coyotes continue on in Glendale there's something very wrong with the NHL.
And then he'll politely ask you to go on the neighbor's lawn.
