"we should be able to stop working before the job's done."
I have to say, I'm not surprised to hear this train of thought from a Kent State fan.

It's funny packers fans would not be complaining if they scored a TD. Get real.
I'm sure you would. So why is this game any different. I never heard this on any other overtime game or was this teh magic game that changed everyones mind?I'm not a Packers fan, and I'm not complaining. I'm voicing my opinion.
Had GB won the flip and scored a TD on the first drive, I'd be voicing this same opinion.

Are you saying having both teams posses the ball in overtime is a bad idea? I think all anyone is saying is that it would be a better idea. I mean having a QB like Rodgers not being able to take the field in OT in a playoff game because of some obscure rule that really makes no sense is ridiculous.I'm sure you would. Because the NFL feels that defense is a strong enough component of the game that if you allow the other team to go the length of the field for a TD, you deserve to lose. But with a FG, in today's NFL, kickers have stronger legs and you can get there very easy.As I understand it, had the Cardinals only gotten a field goal, then GB would have had a possession. How the fuck does that make sense?
Pretty much. All that matters is Eddie Lacy must run the slowest 40 time in NFL history at RB right now. It's got to be over 5 seconds.
It doesn't. The only way a game should end on one possession in OT is a defensive score imo. Pick 6 game over. Fumble score game over. Safety game over.As I understand it, had the Cardinals only gotten a field goal, then GB would have had a possession. How the fuck does that make sense?

Think about it though. This was the worst season of the Rodgers era (minus his first year as a starter) and we still nearly made the NFC title game. I expect a much better season next season. McCarthy needs to sit stars in preseason. Preseason should also be reduced to two games. All that matters is Eddie Lacy must run the slowest 40 time in NFL history at RB right now. If the Packers finally start the better players then we should win the SB or at least get to the SB without an epic collapse like 2015. It's insane how poor this team was yet we still are one dropped int/ one correct ref flag away from the champ game again.
1.) Janis and Abb need to be starting WR's
2.) Morgan Brunott needs to go
3.) Sam Shields needs to learn how to catch
4.) Acquire MLB's so Matthews can go back to his natural position.
5.) Last but not least the training staff needs to learn how to deal with the medical side of the team. From preventing injuries, nutrition, yoga, fucking diagnosing injuries properly. I feel so bad for Ty that he kept trying to get back in but his ankle ligament was completely torn and required surgery. Also the entire O-line was injured for majority of the season.
Those are the improvements that can be made from the players side and for the coaching staff we need a real offensive play caller, Dom Capers to stop calling zone since it clearly fails with this team and a WR's coach wouldn't hurt.
