It's funny packers fans would not be complaining if they scored a TD. Get real.

I'm not a Packers fan, and I'm not complaining. I'm voicing my opinion.

Had GB won the flip and scored a TD on the first drive, I'd be voicing this same opinion.

I can't speak for everyone, but for me, I don't think I've posted here after an overtime game that ended like this. This game did not change my mind.

Are you saying having both teams posses the ball in overtime is a bad idea? I think all anyone is saying is that it would be a better idea. I mean having a QB like Rodgers not being able to take the field in OT in a playoff game because of some obscure rule that really makes no sense is ridiculous.

As I understand it, had the Cardinals only gotten a field goal, then GB would have had a possession. How the fuck does that make sense?

All that matters is Eddie Lacy must run the slowest 40 time in NFL history at RB right now. It's got to be over 5 seconds.

Because the NFL feels that defense is a strong enough component of the game that if you allow the other team to go the length of the field for a TD, you deserve to lose. But with a FG, in today's NFL, kickers have stronger legs and you can get there very easy.

It doesn't. The only way a game should end on one possession in OT is a defensive score imo. Pick 6 game over. Fumble score game over. Safety game over.

I just realized that there was some coin flip craziness. I was dealing with my kids and didn't see the flips, but now seeing what happened, I can understand why you might think I have sour grapes.

My issue has nothing to do with the events of tonight's flip. I don't give a shit about that. If the first flip was fucking perfect, the best flip in the history of coin flipage, I think only having one team get offensive possession is strange.

Agreed, both teams deserve a chance to touch the rock. They'll change the rule again in a couple years. BS

But the other team doesn't have to demonstrate that they wouldn't let the other team drive the length of the field for a TD because coin flip?

Think about it though. This was the worst season of the Rodgers era (minus his first year as a starter) and we still nearly made the NFC title game. I expect a much better season next season. McCarthy needs to sit stars in preseason. Preseason should also be reduced to two games.

The Packers played tough, and I'm proud of them. The defense is legit and they were playing without their top 4 receivers. I was worried about their future prospects just a few weeks ago, but they're going to be a contender next year.

Seems reasonable. I still say they should just keep tacking on quarters, or half quarters until a team wins.

Keep playing the game until someone wins. That's one of the things that makes baseball sofa king awesome.

If the Packers finally start the better players then we should win the SB or at least get to the SB without an epic collapse like 2015. It's insane how poor this team was yet we still are one dropped int/ one correct ref flag away from the champ game again.

1.) Janis and Abb need to be starting WR's
2.) Morgan Brunott needs to go
3.) Sam Shields needs to learn how to catch
4.) Acquire MLB's so Matthews can go back to his natural position.
5.) Last but not least the training staff needs to learn how to deal with the medical side of the team. From preventing injuries, nutrition, yoga, fucking diagnosing injuries properly. I feel so bad for Ty that he kept trying to get back in but his ankle ligament was completely torn and required surgery. Also the entire O-line was injured for majority of the season.

Those are the improvements that can be made from the players side and for the coaching staff we need a real offensive play caller, Dom Capers to stop calling zone since it clearly fails with this team and a WR's coach wouldn't hurt.

Did you say "yoga" on a sports thread and not follow it with "pants"?

Seriously, stop looking at my ass.
