Tim Curry was awesome in that role. They're going to do a 2-part remake of 'It' very soon. Nobody can play Pennywise as well as Curry, IMO.
Hostel is the one that came to my mind. The Exorcist for me hands down. Still scared of it. Not a fan of exorcism movies at all.
Hostel, makes me never want to travel in the outskirts of foreign countries.
I watched this movie, not long ago.
It was the most disturbing movie I have ever seen, I almost couldn't make it through the entire movie, shit made me sick.
And I guarantee, if any of you seen the movie, you would agree.
A Serbian Film

Just out of my collection:
Deer Hunter
Videodrome
Kids
Warriors
Cannibal Holocaust
Changeling (did NOT expect this to be as disturbing as it was and saw it Christmas night, if you have seen it and remember a certain scene, you can imagine how awkward the theatre was)
Jacob's Ladder
Clockwork Orange
Gummo
Deer Hunter and Jacob's Ladder are two good ones. In order to be disturbing, the picture needs to feel real. In Cold Blood qualifies. Platoon and Silence of the Lambs are two others.

^^^ Heads up, that may need to be removed. I just watched the first minute of it and it's already out of hand. I'll let the mods or Hammer decide.
Platoon was fake as hell, try Hamburger Hill for the real story of 'Nam.
One film I haven't seen mentioned is Midnight Express, and another I forget the title to, of a prison in Thailand with the same theme...when they take the girl and her retarded brother out to be executed by machine gun...
Fair warning if you decide to watch that movie.
Don't say I didn't tell you so
I have it queued up but haven't watched it yet.
That sounds horrible.
