Ah, nobody other than maybe Don Hutson from the 30's might make ityoday, regardless of rules.
You did a lot of editing after I answered your question.

Aaron Rodgers weighs 225, Jack Lambert 220, seriously doubt Rodgers fears the little guy.
Once again, different set of rules. Rodgers would shit himself if he didn't have todays rules in place.

Rodgers is a skinny,no muscle runt, Lambert's sneeze would put him in a coma

And how do you know this?
Let's take QB. Back then the defenders would maul QBs when given a chance. Today can't hit around the head/neck area and can't tackle around the knees. Rodgers himself has a rule made for him after his injury against Minny I believe.

Can't belive all this realy has to be explained. Just lok basketball, totally different kind of athletes out there now.
Show me a link to prove this

Work with me here....

This site will take you back pre 1900, go to the 100m, see where it says.....GO. CLlick on that.

You will see how speed has evolved over the decades, you will notice the 40;s faster than the 30;s the 50;s faster than the 40;s, etc etc

The size thing is simply common sense, just think of the freak The Frig was at 300 pounds in 1985, today high school lines average 311.

Watch highlights of Troy Aikman getting sacked 12 times against the Eagles. Look at the hits..no personal fouls or roughing calls. Just leaving your feet head shots and choke slams. Same with the receivers. It's like comparing today's NBA to that era, no hand checking or hard fouls. It's not the same game

I didn't ask for track and field stats. Show me a link proving NFL players in the past could not compete in todays NFL.

Dude, don;t you get how it works? Don Hutson ran track at Alabama.

You look at what 100m times and you get the speed on football.teams.
