Who did Miss play in their bowl game? LMMFGDAO!!!!! Unranked who?
Yeah, Iowa only had one loss. TO MINNESOTA.
You're a retarded homer. You'll be bounced soon for being a moron.

Yeah, when you get beat in your bowl game, it's clear you had no business being name a national champ.
EVERY team that year had at least one loss, except for Miss who played who? Who did they beat, anyone? They played an unranked team in the bowl game. Pathetic. That, all by itself should disqualify them. They deserve the title as much as UCF did a few years ago.
Iowa was ranked #1 when 1 loss UMn trounced them. Iowa won out and finished #3. UMn finished #1.
But it figures that you, who thinks Oregon, who didn't get either Helms or Premo-Poretta Poll to acknowledge them, deserves to be considered the Champ in cbb in 1939, would hypocritically think UMn doesn't deserve their title in cfb in 1960.
I mean, UMn lost to UW, so if a clearly superior team was there for the naming in 1960, I'd be willing to acknowledge as much, but there wasn't, everyone had a loss, basically.
But 1939 Oregon? LIU went undefeated while Oregon lost 5 games, and LIU pounded Butler, beating them by double digits, while Oregon lost to Butler, and LIU got the nod from both the Helms Athletic Foundation and the Premo-Poretta Poll, and they won the more reputable(in 1939 at least) NIT tourney. So it's pretty clear to me who the superior team was in 1939.
wrong. Missouri was undefeated
New Mexico State was undefeated
Yale was undefeated
Ole Miss undefeated
had the polls been done BEFORE the bowl games, minny doesn’t finish top 5
There are only a select few blue bloods. When you hear the names you know. There's a couple that are right there and can be included in the conversation. Having a list that goes past 7 and into the 40s and 50s is ridiculous.
LOL. They have plenty more to spare.#3 and 6-0 UMn beat #1 Iowa 27-10.
USC going to lose their blue blood status eventually? They have been struggling some since they got one of their titles stripped from them.
LOL. They have plenty more to spare.
Yale??? NMSU??? Seriously? Really? That is what you are going for?
LMMFGDAO@Handi and his host of creampuff nobodies.
And Missouri wasn't undefeated. They lost to Kansas.
And I've asked many times now, who did Miss even play? Their bowl opponent wasn't even ranked.
Wrong again dumbass. Kansas had to forfeit two games including Missouri game.
ole Miss and Missouri were both better
suck it Loser
Yeah, that's what UMn thought. But by the 80s/90s they basically had officially lost their blue blood status after 8 straight decades of being a blue blood. Nebraska's on the verge of losing their status as well, if they don't get their act together soon.
LOL. How far long ago was 2010? Between 2000 and 2010 USC won the 5th most games in Div 1 FBS a National Championship, playing in another NCG , two Heismans and second most players drafted to the NFL.
USC is no where close to losing blue blood status. GTF outta here with this stupid talk.

Did a true CFB fan just say USC is about to lose their Blueblood status? OMG
How much cheating did they do to accomplish all of that?
LOL. Yeah, they got caught having someone from outside the program trying to get their star player to leave early for the NFL and sign with them. How stupid and jealous are you, is the right question.
