...that in 3 games Russell Wilson leads the NFL with a passer rating of 108.9? Also with a 69% completion... he's right where they want to be when all the talks in the preseason was trying to get him at 70%.

Yes, it's three games and we'll have to see if this sustain.

But hey, he's just a "game manager"

:noidea:

He's no game manager. He might not be asked to throw as much as some QB's because he has a top RB and great D but when a play needs to be made he makes it. It's hard to quantify clutch but this guy is clutch

Also, Bobby Wagner leads the league in tackles. Would not have guessed that if I had not looked it up.

His defense gave up a td and 2pt conversion with 59 seconds left. Can we put that to bed now?

They're never going to put this "game manager" and how fell into a "good situation" bullshit to bed. Never.

Sure they will. Because he's going to get paid after this year, Lynch is going to get cut, and we're going to embark on the reality that other NFL teams have to face, and Russell will have 12 more years to show the world that he's an elite QB.

In my view there's very small chance (barring injury) that he'll Roethlesberger, and a very good chance that he'll end up being a Brees type - a guy who any year could win another ring.

I dont know man. There looks to be alot of tread still on the beasts tires. How much is his contract number next year?

Christine michael hasn't proven anything. In fact he's proven he's injury prone. You want to hand the keys to this machine to turbo?

While I completely agree with you that Lynch hasn't showed signs of slowing down, he has a cap hit of almost $9M next year. Going to be tough to pay that, with all of the other considerations. And after this offseason, I don't think Beast Mode is going to be in the mood for a restructure, especially if he has a strong year.

If he has another great year I think the Hawks find a way to honor that final year. Its 8.5 against the cap, 2 mil dead money... So they have to come up with 6.5 mil. The cap went up 10 this year, expected to go up 12 next, then to 15 in 2016.

The Seahawks are too smart to not find a way to hold on to one of their best players.

I trust Schneider and co to make the right call. I could be wrong of course, but 'injury prone' is from an awfully small sample size, no?
