Who is dead and (was) from Columbus. If he's buying a hockey team (from beyond the grave), I can think of a better one. And he can appoint a fry cook GM, it will be an upgrade.

Correct...the owner (Peltz = alive) not the founder (Dave Thomas = dead),; although in a nice twist they have Dave's daughter WENDY doing commeercials for them now

1. No idea. However in a year if JVB still is in rough shape he may have no choice but to sell in which case I'd love Peltz as an owner.

2. Again, no idea. I think in a year or so we'd have a much better idea. Is the Devils debt in check? Is the Islanders arena situation figured out? Who knows if he goes for either.
