I don't think he can be traded before June 15 (might be off on exact date). HOWEVER....if Fowler OKs the trade, it could be done. But I believe both the player's union and MLB are against doing that....as I don't think it happens often, at least to "name" players.

I gave a few extra weeks for a rehab assignment even. It literally isn't an issue. He was going to platoon with gose anyways. Gose gets a few more at bats and bernard gets a few weeks in the bigs like tyler collins did in 2014.
