Wondering about Rondon....saw he gave up a homer Saturday. How is his weight?
Why not talk about Holaday hitting 2 HR? Outside of the HR.. Rondon looked great with that being the only hit he gave up in 1.1 innings and having 2 k's and no walks... Why not talk about VMart hitting like a beast?

Because you are a fucking troll that is here to do nothing more than stir the pot.

Wouldn't always posting negative shit about the Royals and Indians, make you a troll?

Funny... I seem to get along quite well with all Royals fans not named da55bums... wonder why that is.

Like I said... go 24 hours without posting something either about me.. a reply to me.. or troll bait about the Tigers here... If you can do that... you will prove you aren't a troll... You won't... because you can't.

Does McCann have any options left? Both Holaday and Salty are smacking the ball around in early spring games. Ditto for former catcher Victor Martinez. Also good news on the VMart front...the Super Glue seems to be doing the job so far...no reported groin tears or torn hammies. My boy Pelfrey with 3 perfect innings! Bad news: Justin Upton 0-6, 5 K's.

I see Sanchez threw a bullpen session of 25 pitches. I am sure Detroit scouts/front office are keeping their eyes and ears open on the rotation situations of the other 29 clubs.

Upton 1-2 today with an RBI and a walk...

Moya with another HR today.... He is having a nice spring so far. Tigers pitching looked good today too. Parnell might push his way onto the opening day roster. He has looked really solid. Verhagen and Fulmer looked really good today also.

Not at all. Only $5 mil... He is going to be cheaper than Maybin will cost the Tigers.
Nice work by Chicago to be patient and land the more reliable guy for next to nothing.

Hopefully Big Al doesn't pull the trigger on so many moves so quickly in the future.

Not that he had a bad offseason, but I think it was clearly the offseason of a first year GM.

I can understand moving fast on Zimmermann... But totally agree... most of his moves were way to fast and over pays. He had a plan and executed it though... So we shall see how it works. If Pelftrey and Lowe have a decent year I among many others will have to eat some crow. Which I will be glad to do.

The Zimmerman move I completely support. Especially considering it will most likely be the only ahow addition to the pitching staff via FA until 2018.

The minor moves is where I would've liked to see him be more patient.

Not that I'm complaining about Upton or KRod though.

I doubt the Tigers are players in the free agent market after this season (2016 free agent market). But it quite possibly is the worst free agent crop of talent in a while with no real starters to go after anyways. After the 2017 season they will have 20 mil coming off the books from Pelfrey, Lowe, and KRod's contracts, another 22 mil if Upton opts out, and they could save 18 mil by not picking up Kinsler and Sanchez 2018 option.... so they could actually be players in the free agent season after next year is up if they wanted to be.. not sure what the talent pool looks like.. but there is a pretty good chance that the Tigers are going to have some money to spend as they have about 70 mil coming off the books if they don't pick up options.
