Tigers reward Kyle Ryan's 3 scoreless innings yesterday by sending him to Toledo, and recalling Blaine Hardy, who has been mostly ineffective at the MLB level this season.

I can only guess this is because the 3 innings make Ryan unavailable for a couple days, and Ausmus wants a lefty in the pen who can actually come in and pitch Friday-Saturday.

Yeah, he wouldn't be able to pitch for days. If a move is going to made, it's often the guy who's been used up most recently. Prolly back after 10 days.
