Ive said it many times. I like avila WHEN hes facing a righty. Its when he faces a lefty that pisses me off. Not bunting almost cost them. They took vmart out too. We werent gonna win in extras. So great job avila.


Going to sat night game. I get to see whatever minor league pitcher we throw out there that night. Getting free food and drink for an hr n half at the patio before the start of game. Lets hope we score alot.

He did bet on winning in 9th with Vmart taken out. IMO Nick bunts and Hunter still stikes outs there aere 2 outs and if Ichiro gets that ball inning over either way. I just would have like to of seen the bunt and be aggressive after taking Vmart out was my thoughts.

I never like Avila. Unless he's doing an interview. He's good at those and only does them when we win.

As I somewhat suspected. lefty Kylie Ryan who was decent in AA, but lights out in AAA will pitch the opener on Sat. I would prefer a righty against the right hand dominated Sox. However you have what you have. It will be interesting though after september first. With 20 games in sept against the lefty dominated Royals, tribe and twins the Tigers will have in the pen pen McCoy, Hardy, Coke, Kroll and Lobstein all to deal with lefties.
