At the time....the key phrase. ......we all seen it before....he gets hot then vanishes.....i think once he got to seattle he struggled until the big 4 RBI game he had. Not sure what hes done since. Id take price for ajax and smyly 11 times out of 10

Yep.

AJ never made that big next step as a hitter. And sucked as a baserunner. Price is one of the best at what he does. Drew and Austin aren't. (But he was hitting well when he was dealt. Still don't miss him.)

In other news, I hear The Pride of Whitehall is done for the season.

Havent heard much about him this year....was just in whitehall saturday..

Very true. Soria, Johnson, Hanrahanrahan, Schlereth... Would have been nice if one of those mid season bullpen additions had helped.

Beltre, Choo, Andrus and Rios all cleared waivers yesterday. Id trade 98% of our farm system for those guys.

I was thinking nicky c for beltre yesterday.....that would be going ALL in....

the kid from Cuba will not help this year. Hasn't played competitive ball since 2013. Can't see him impacting anyones chances this season. Still has to get a work visa after signing. Unless he signs with the White Sox (Obama's favorite team) I can't see the gov't rushing a work visa through for anyone except the prefered team of the White House.
