You can scroll back to preseason for me where i complained about our offense and BP. People think im negative or another iffy but people who have known me on here havent heard hardly any negative crap from me over the last 3 years. Even when we played poorly i stuck up for them. Thats why me n iffy didnt get along. He talked crap when we were winning....i was mad before the season ever started. Didnt care for the rajai signing. Thought he was more of a platoon guy. We didnt sign any power. We lost prince peralta and infante. I liked the prince trade now but by trading him we no longer have a deep lineup. Vmart moved up and our 5-9 is bad. People think i hate nick but i dont. On a bad team he would be fine. Learning. But we been to 3 straight ALCS and we have 2 rookies starting on our left side of infield. For a team so close to winning it all, i said we took a step back.....

I love DD...i remember the randy smith days.....but this team needed a 5 hitterand help in the BP last season.....but yet we had fans on here talking how our BP was top 5. If the BP wasnt bad last yr, we might had won it all.....but too many people jumped on the "blame prince" bandwagon and forgot how bad our BP was. Now prince is gone and i feel this team is worse than last years team....maybe built better for the postseason.....but you have to get there first.

Im worried about the future. JV's contract. Tori and vmart free agents and old. Miggy signed long term, and he will decline. Prolly lose max....hopefully price stays. So thats why im so mad. I believe the window will close after this year to win it all....not to mention how depleted the farm system is now.

My post wasnt directed toward you. Im fine with losing max and resigning price, I was a huge advocate of trading max in the offseason when we could get a haul for him. Now they will get nothing in return, so it will be a huge mistake that they didnt trade him if they dont win the world series. Pretty big gamble. Price is and will be better than max anyhow.

For anyone that constantly calls dombrowski dumbo etc, they dont know baseball.

Wow most of you fans are ridiculous. All year long, tigers are winning all we see is praise blah blah on here. They lose some games and everyone is talking about how horrible they are, how bad management is, etc. dombrowski has did more for the tigers fans than any GM they have had. He has proven he wants to win and has done everything he can besides play the field. Has he made mistakes? Definitely. As have all GMS. How quickly we forget the days where higginson is the only guy on our team that can hit, and the 100 loss seasons. Geezus. The guy just brought in one of the best pitchers in baseball and a good closer at the trade deadline. Still not enough. The tigers have not been hitting, it happens, teams go through slumps.

If the tigers win the world series 1\3 of you will still find a reason to gripe. You should hit up the lions board, there is actually legitimate reason to grumble there.

We can grumble again on the Lions board? I haven't even checked in over there in two weeks. Don't really plan on it anytime soon.

Im looking forward to Torii Hunter not being in the Tigers outfield next year. Other than a plus arm, he straight up sucks! (Almost as much as this weak hitting lineup. Billy Martin won a game as Tigers manger 42 years ago today by drawing the lineup out of a hat. Ausmus might have started drinking too.)

There are many more reasons to at least, I would find it more acceptable as the lions arent perennial contenders while the tigers are. I get it, lotta guys on here with some serious sports emotions. Anyhow you arent missing much. Tpaul arguing with whoever he doesnt agree with, same old shit.

Yeah, the Lions fucking blow, have blown, will continue to blow. I have full faith in them. Exact opposite with our Tigs. I mean, the bullpen sucks as much as a bullpen can suck(I see you Victor!) but I ain't skerd. Although I like KC adding Willingham, they aren't going to hang. (Today is what, the 4th day out of about about 140 Detroit hasn't been in first?)

What am i supposed to say about going 2-7. Were really playing good now? I dont even expect them to be winning when i check the scores. Pitt has been beating us up minus walker and mccutchen. But yeah...everythings supposed to be peaches n cream in this room i guess. Didnt see the sign on the door that said NO NEGATIVE COMMENTS. Im not on here poking fun at prince or miggys weight. Thats how u play small ball. Something we claimed to be this yr but have yet to stay consistent. If only ajax wouldve had more chances to bunt. Always heard about his speed but i only got to enjoy it while he was out in the field running balls down.

How about being spot on when some people in here told me the BP was fine in spring training. Just because we signed nathan. And my main argument was fine we got nathan but our problems last yr were in the 7th and 8th innings. Benoit was 10times better than nathan closing. If we had a good lefty last yr maybe papi doesnt hit the huge HR of benoit in THE EIGHTH INNING.

Romine relly doesn't bother anymore. Only see him once in a while. POS had 2 hits other day. Knew he was done for the next 7 games in hits.

I've been numb to Avilas awfulness for almost two years. I hate it every time he's in the lineup but I've accepted the fact hes going to play no matter what. And we'll someday draft his oldest kid. Then he'll DH once a week in single A. (That's what Pat Leyland's been doing the last two seasons at West Michigan.)
