Well, this embarrassing. MLB Network was duped by a fake Twitter rumor:
As someone who has fallen victim to posting fake rumors, I know how embarrassing that is.


MLB Network got trolled and made up the rumor about Price and Zobrist coming to Detroit...It was a prank.

Had a small momentary chub...

The Red Sox aren't done, folks. They're "getting close" to a deal with the Tigers involving LHP Andrew Miller, according to Jon Morosi of Fox Sports.

Yo adrian, How you feel about the Cespedes for Lester trade?

hope the Tigers do not give up too much for Miller who is a FA after this season. Probably one of the 4 SP in West Michigan. Crawford, Farmer, Kubitza or Ziomek. All have ERA's under three and all are in the Tigers top 10 prospects. I do have to give a tip of the cap to David Chadd who since getting more responsibility in 2010 as far as the draft goes has really done a good job rebuilding the farm system.

Yo adrian, How you feel about the Cespedes for Lester trade?

I like the deal. A's have under the money ball era never gotten out of the first round. Remember Cespedes is only signed for next season before he is a FA. So they traded a season and 2 months of Cespedes for 2 months of Lester. In addition they only pay 2 months of Lesters salary. A's were not going to resign Cespedes anyway. So they go into the playoffs with Gray, Lester, Samardzija and Kazmir.

my guess would be Smyly, Adames (SS west michigan) and maybe two of the following pitchers : Crawford, kubitza, Farmer and Ziomek at West Michigan and Turley, De Larosa and Eichorn at lakeland. Could also involve devon Travis . Hard to tell.
