I heard today that the Tigers have lost 11 games in which they were ahead or tied after the 7th.

The fact that this is all that was available to Ausmus in this game is on Dombrowski. Need to get this fixed in the next week, even if it means eating your previous mistake and paying to bring back Benoit.

The Tigers have to crash pretty hard to not win the Central. They can go 33-32 and reach 88 wins. Cleveland would have to play about .625 ball to top 88 wins, and I don't see that happening. But we need more stable middle relief for the postseason.

Joel Hanrahan was shut down indefinitely after a bullpen session yesterday. He was a gamble anyway, but looks like there be no help forthcoming from him.

Ya, that's odd, but I guess when you have that kind of money I would have season tickets for the Lions and Seahawks just in case I was traveling and one of the teams were in town.

Yeah, money's no concern for Kirk. Im sure he doesn't have a problem finding family and friends to take the seats during the regular season. He said in his pre game interview that he'd be in them as usual for the playoffs. Unless the DBacks are in. Hahaha, I think he's safe there.
