Anyone know how Dirks rehab is going? Kelly is worthless and JD is using a catchers mitt in left. Davis can steal, but is a mess when batting.

Another lousy loss tonight. These guys do NOT play as a team. Poor fielding, NO timely hitting and a bullpen that has to be the worst in all baseball. With only a 2 game lead in the Central and 13 straight division games, Detroit will be out of first place by the Cleveland series. Lets see how the "veteran presence" that Zoolander brags about handles the challenge???????????

Read up on that yesterday, and Andy has yet to resume full baseball activity. Long tossing and swinging a bat (not BP), and that's it so far. Easily 2 more weeks away, at least.

The Tigers are just in one of those funks where they get either good pitching and no hitting (ask Anibal), or good enough hitting (like last night) and lousy pitching. When they do get both, the bullpen blows it. I'm sure it will even out. With the 5 starters we have, there will be winning streaks again.

No more Boston or Baltimore on the schedule, so who can Detroit beat? Looks like they found a SS, but the OF goes south and Avila still strikes out. Keeping Geno and Jones on the staff sucks, but then so does Ausmus.
