This is a sick stat: Tiger pitchers have now surrendered 45 RUNS in the 9th inning, easily the most in the league. Doesn't seem to matter who we throw out there.

And I have to toss out a criticism of Ausmus for using Nathan in a non-save situation on Saturday, which made him unavailable for Sunday. If this guy is your closer, don't waste him in an 8-4 game. Not saying Nathan would have been any better than Joba protecting a 1-run lead, but this is what you're paying him for -- not to mop up with a 4-run cushion.
