You know I feel old sometimes talking with the youngsters on here. Kengel, you
and Howie must be AARP card carrying fuckers. Unless you guys are speaking from
history? 68 I was still in the sack. Have memories or flashes of baseball from
mid 70's. First I truly remember is 79' WS of my then fav O's vs. Bucs.

Born in '62, so most of what I remember of the '68 team is through films and stories. I do remember running out into the street with my brothers and jumping up and down with the neighborhood kids when the Tigs won the '68 Series, but didn't realize the significance of the event at age 6.

The first game at the ol' Stadium I remember was about 1970 ... the first year I was in Little League and I went with the team. I think the Tigers played Baltimore and got crushed something like 8-2.

I remember my first hockey game at the Olympia around the same time. Wings won 5-0, and our namesake (Gordie Howe) scored a goal.

Oh yeah, he won me over weeks ago. Dudes a gamer. Just didn't leg out one I wanted him to. It's cool, he comes out of the box sprinting more often than not. All is forgiven. On my end anyway.

Ya I was laughing the moment it happened but at the same time, everything was right.......Right down the line, wind in his favor, hit the pole, etc etc.....I'm guessing he's lucky to hit another one.....

That was all the stars lining up, that's all it was and everyone knows it, unless your a box score watcher.
