Cleaves thinks it is nitpicking that the Tigers' infield has no range, allows too many infield hits, and their 3B ranks at the bottom???? You keep on thinking like that cleaves....Defense and speed mean nothing....check! lol

the Tigers can't play small ball... They are to slow and honestly i don't think they have anyone who even knows how to bunt... No point in bunting when the guy on base is a turtle

It absolutely was a bad call by Leyland....Look when you can't bunt and you lay down crappy bunts the other team is going to nail the lead runner just about every time... especially when you have turtles running the bases

Avila is a major league player. He should know how to bunt - even with a slow runner on base. He has bunted successfully before (not a lot, but 2 or 3 times a year). The question is.....would you still say it was a bad call, if it had been successful?

PS....for all I know, Avila might be one of the best bunters on the team. I would think the JL would know if Avila COULD bunt successful, before he called for the bunt.

Yeah im a horrible tiger fan because some guy they got from another team failed to stay in our minor league system......good fans sit on the internet gloating about how many consecutive innings the tigers fail to score in.....give us articles about how AWFUL our infield defense is......gives us updates about ex-tigers most of us could care less about....always making sure to let people know when miggy or prince fail.....or maybe putting words in other peoples mouths, like "verlander is mediocre" but yet when confronted about it, slithers off to another subject.....what an attention whore.

And yup i was doing so well igging the family tiger troll.....but you know...assholes always seem to get my attention.....his goal in life is to be a STRAW. Nuff said

Me thinks cleaves has gotten his feelings hurt. Cleaves, I honestly don't mind if your a part-time fan. A lot of people on boards like this come here to shoot their mouth of with little or no knowledge of facts. I don't/can't hold it against them if I am smarter and more knowledgeable than they are.

(I wonder if cleaves knows WHO gives me all the attention he talks about? Too bad he spends so much time worrying about me...and not paying attention to the information available about the Tigers. Geez...one check a day at MLB Trade Rumors would be better time spent than posting about what I say and do!)

I don't think they allow double IDs. I tried to create one when muzz was trying to tattle on me and get me booted....and they blocked it.

OK....here is something you can trash me on. I am all for giving Matt Tui a LONG look at DH. It will put a lot of pressure on Kelly and Santiago to back up all positions, since VMart is worthless on the bench, since he can only play 1B. Of course I am not against finding a player other than Santiago either.
