You guys think Scherzer is staying? Who's to say he doesn't fall off?

Yeah, I think he stays. he will undoubtedly fall of in the W-L totals but his stuff has improved almost every year. He could get better.

I say if by trade deadline hes having a decent year....try and extend him.....if hes not doing so well.....trade him for whatever or just keep him if were in the race.....alot of ways to go.

We are losing Peralta, Infante, Prince. That is what, $35MM and picking up Insler and Iggy($15MM?) That should leave us with $20MM for RP's and what else? 3B

Id rather have choo too, but hes gonna be expensive....was hoping grandy gives us a discount since most tiger fans love him.....but hes gonna come home to chicago.....just hope its the cubs and not the sox....would puke to see him in the chi sox uni

Plus you can add a lil more.....mr ilitch already said he would add 10-20 more million if needed. He wants to win....get nathan at 10 mil.....couple RP for 10 mil.....and a LF or 3B in the 8-14 mil range. Or just get choo and nathan.....and hope rondon and the other bums get us to the 9th.....

I think Rondon is a perfect set-up guy if he can stay healthy. No clue about 3B. No way to Peralta.

Jackson needs to be out of the lead off slot.

where are the guys that wanted to trade V Mart now??????? I knew we would still need his bat. now more than ever. 1 more year for Victor!
Dirks will be better this year than last year.

I like the idea of Jhonny P at 3rd ..it makes sense. till we get a solid choice over there. no need to spend on 3rd just yet. save it for MaxScherzer.. how can you say Scherzer will fall off?????? the guy has learned to pitch. he can pitch and throw hard. he will be close to 20 wins again.

no doubt we will miss Fielder. 2013 he was not as he should have been. iam sure his numbers will go up in Texas. esp HRs. He was a good RBI man... during the regular season.

but his post season was so bad. he set records in sucking in the pst season.He hurt this Tiger team.
Plus he shrugged it off as not big deal with the press. you had to think some of his team mates though of him as a paper Tigers in the post season.

doug...see, this is where your 'cheerleading homerism' gets in the way. Dirks will never shine. At best he plays a mediocre left field, bats around .270 with little power.

Choo probably won't be a Tiger...but he'd fit in nicely by replacing Dirks.
