Hey I was considered one of the most hated Tiger fans by opposing teams.. Me and Miami used to piss so many people off. And I forget the MSU fan that joined us as well.. Now I just want to talk about the teams..

Edit: Is Iffy here? He could be so annoying.

I think Iffy is banned. Muzzer too although he may have made it back on.

"Memories,......., like the corners of my mind".........

Some old favorites myself, especially Kid Dude. He, like many, got run off/scared off from the main board on CBS, due to the fact that the regulars were also the trolls. We lost way too many good posters that way, which was sad.

A few rotten appels DOES spoil the whole bunch sometimes.....

Hahahaha..... The Good Ol' days. KidDude was top notch. Had a lot of conversations with him before his car accident when Blogs still had high users over there. And Nos, he's always been one of my favorites, glad he's over here. I quit going to the big board lonnnnng ago. You couldn't outweigh the 5,6,13 guys who said the same off color stuff everyday from their EastCoast office. You and Adrian, two of the best baseball posters there are, in my not all that humble opinion.

Thank you for the kind compliment. I think Adrian is Aces as well, though we don't chat nearly as much as we used to.

Anybody know who holds the tiebreaker between the BoSox and the A's? I know they tied the season series and I believe the next is intra-division record.
A's record (intradivision) 42-31 .575
Sox 43-30 .589

If the A's pickup a game to tie then both will be the same.

so it then goes to the third tiebreaker which is best AL record . A's are 13-7, sox are 14-6. Sox are therefore one game up in AL record. So if the A's pickup a game this weekend then that is also a tie.

Fourth tiebreaker is higher winning percentage in last half of league games.

A's 42-26 .617
Sox 39-26 .600

It appears the A's may hve the fourth tie breaker.

sorry big D. Purchased a house with an inground pool and really spent a lot of time outside this summer. Posting has been lacking from my side.

We did it.. won the central again tiger fans!
to think just 8 years ago we were the bums of the AL for 10 straight years.

it all started with verlander. then others were added.
Nobody can send out as good as 5 starters we send out all year long. They hardly missed a start this year. Schanzer hadminor arm trouble early in the year.

we can beat Oakland. they might be whailing on the west teams..but they cant match up against us.
there best hope is to get guys on base and run on us.

No soup for you! Admins can't fathom the thought of losing fuzzy bunnies, it brings in too much revenue.:laugh3:

Did you experience the same summer I did in MI? Brrr....I hope the pool is heated!

I have an above-ground, not heated, and didn't even open it this year. Would have been a waste of chemicals and electricity, as it turned out.

Are Tiger fans willing to welcome him back with open arms?

I think the fans are but I can't believe Ilitch is. As much as I would love to see his bat in the lineup or coming off the bench and the security of having him available at SS or 3B, I would rather see him stay away. I think it is obvious he isn't in our long term plans.

I feel many players used PED's but he got caught and that stigma will stick to the team if it does manage to win it all.

yes it was a very disappointing year. Lots of $$$ this summer. I do have a gas heater so it is able to be at temp, but at a fairly high price. Hoping for a warmer summer next season

jhonny paid his time. In a wierd twist of fate had it not been for the suspension the trade for Iggy would not have happened and the Tigers would need a SS next season. So yes most Tigers will accept him back, especially with the LF position from the right handed side not producing in the second half.
