Even if the Tigers sweep the Marlins, Oakland would have to lose 2 of their last 3, because the A's hold the tie-breaker.

I know this, but they could very well lost 2 out of 3 at Seattle.. A team with good pitching..

What is your final, final opinion? Do you think there are bad threads, or, just bad posters. And, if it is the latter, I hope you will at lease consider making a return.

It gets lonely for a guy like me on that thread, that wants to and is willing to talk equally about all teams, and not just one, or one division.

This team took alot of slack this year....people thought they should coast to 100 wins or sumthin.....the expectations were high....i understand......but look at washington, la angels, SF and toronto.....their expectations were high also......just goes to show, you still gotta play the game.

That is funny, in that NOBODY coasts to 100 wins. Nobody got to 100 this year, and none last year at all.

It gets lonely for a guy like me on that thread, that wants to and is willing to talk equally about all teams, and not just one, or one division.

I think its bad posters.....we had the AL smack talk for the last 5 yrs on cbs.....was a cool thread......this year was doing good until captain got all whiney once the injuns season seemed ruined back when the tigers swept....then dabums came in and would have 10 pages of crap in a 12 hr period.....alot of the posters stopped coming in because of that....capt tried to blame it on "arrogant" tiger fans. But it was a "smack talk" thread....when the injuns were in first during the beginning of the year, he was talking the most.....the guy just hates everything tiger related. For him to edit my post today and say i was trolling and not wanted there was just crazy. He already admitted he needs a "posse" to argue sports......hes been wrong or misinformed so many times. And he hates being called out for his stupidity.

Like pretty much always, with more information comes a better understanding.

Thank you for filling in these blanks for me, as I rarely ventured off the main MLB board and threads in my many CBS years. And, in a funny irony, the stuff above is pretty much the reason I quit the daily thread on CBS. And, it was not until the bulk of that bunch was cleared out here that I came back to that thread.

I will hope you and others decide to drop by on occasion, as we need more and better folks.

Omar looks like the 2nd coming of cano compared to raburn and santiago splitting the 2B position.

Ajax is streaky.....when hes on the tigers are at the top of their game....him getting on in front of tori, miggy, prince and vmart is huge. But sometimes his bat looks like a toothpick

Yeah i know...the high school track debate got out of hand....vice actually had alot of decent baseball knowledge.....yeah he could of filled us in aboit miami.

As for quest and gnrsox......quest was just goofy n dumb......gnrsox was 1 brain short......he used to love posting about the tigers.....his fav saying was....the white sox dont rebuild...they retool.....lol i would love to see him now.....he used to cry about who got player of the game on cbs....i swear he was 11.

Some old favorites myself, especially Kid Dude. He, like many, got run off/scared off from the main board on CBS, due to the fact that the regulars were also the trolls. We lost way too many good posters that way, which was sad.

A few rotten appels DOES spoil the whole bunch sometimes.....

Hey I was considered one of the most hated Tiger fans by opposing teams.. Me and Miami used to piss so many people off. And I forget the MSU fan that joined us as well.. Now I just want to talk about the teams..
