I don't care if they win it.. Just curious why Sanchez name isnt even mentioned.. He is having a beast year. I agree.. he is short on innings.. but if he held his current stats for the rest of the season... I think he needs to be at least mentioned. Then again... I would rather they focus on dominating in the playoffs rather than trying to win personal awards...

Sanchez is proving DD very right... I am glad the Tigers resigned him... Having a guy like him makes a 5 or 7 game series very hard to win against the tigers... This last month is going to be fun..

I went to the Marlins/ Giants game today.. had great seats.. missed catching a foul ball by about 2 inches... it was fun... wish I could catch a game comerica... but I will have to settle for the last series of the year Tigers/Marlins... darn.

I have to smile.. I keep hearing people blowing their hole about how Verlander is having a bad year... His bad year is being 17th overall in era for qualified starters... 3.51.. and a whip of 1.34. Seriously... I love how high the bar is for Verlander.. If he is not top 3 in era, wins, whip, and k's.. he is failing.

Hope Justin can bounce back to top form for the playoffs... that is all I care about... just get me something to celebrate Tigs... shut up the haters the easiest way there is.

Verlander ends up with 15+ wins... and an era below 3.30
Miggy hits 52 hr 150 rbi ba of .363 and will fall just short of a triple crown again.. but win the mvp
scherzer era of under 2.75 and win 22+ and CY
vmart will hit .290+
prince will hit 25+ hr

last but not least.. tigers will win 97 games and the division..

and best prediction.. keep this one in your pockets.. a tiger will throw a no no.. i am guessing sanchez or porcello.. yes... i said it.

Getz sucking is a given. Let's not lose focus here, so does J.J. Putz, Brad Ziegler and Kirk Gibson......Sorry to ruffle feathers with Gibson but as long as he is a D-back he sucks too.

I grew up near Ludington.. Ravana was a class C school.. Whitehall was a class B... Small schools none the less... But right around the same area...

I can't remember.. but yeah.. they were a powerhouse in football back in the day.. have no idea now.. been a while since I have been up there.. I don't have the time to visit as much as I would like.

We had a predictions thread going on the old site. I think I went with 96 games.

Though it's just an individual achievement, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest if Chris Davis went cold for a month and Miggy wins a second triple crown in two years. Or better yet Miggy stays on this tear and wins it regardless.
