For cleaves......my possible agenda for the day.....

1. Go to Ace Hardware and get some tubes and sprinkler heads for the sprinkler system. Some are leaking
2. Replace worn or damaged sprinkler heads. Maybe not all - it is going to be damn hot today.
3. Spend a half hour in pool.
4. Respond to ''followers'' on Sportshoopla.
5. Watch the Adventures of Wyatt Earp on the Western Channel
6. Nap
7. Monday - if too hot wife will declare we need to go out and eat.
8. Keep in touch on Mlb rumors.

the nice thing about the Veras trade is the Tigers will hold a 3.25mil option for 2014. gave a pretty decent prospect for him, but it is for the rest of this season and next. Gives the option of inserting Veras as the closer for small change next season and signing max to an extension. Benoit making 5.5 mil may want more as a FA. Trade market is really over priced right now. Way too many buyers and too few sellers. According to reports the Brewers GM asked for Nick C for K rod. maybe braun not the only one juicing in Milwaukee. orioles eventually gave up an infielder around the same value as Vasquez.

Bout as anxious as we are to keep listening to you over and over about how bad JV is.....tell us how JV wont start in the playoffs? I found tht kind of funny. Thinking ricky would start over JV in the playoffs. Tell us again how the tigers have not played to their potential again....how they have the same record as the yanks....oops not anymore. Someone got hot.....minus miggy!

Only thing im anxious about is someone finally hitting that age where he isnt able to type and stalk and spew negativity over and over every day. Id rather hear about muzzers fantasy team, than anything out of your mouth, which is always negative or sarcasm.....has to be hard living that way. Every day.

I'm still laughing my ass off. Really....I'm walking from room to room laughing that I have someone so firmly by the short hairs....that I am the first thing he things about every day.

Have no idea what youre talking about....all i did was copy and paste from the article on cbs....i know nothing about club options and buyouts.....sorry unless its my contract or someone i knows money i could care less or could care less about looking it up....someone asked a question....i copied and pasted from where i got the information. But yes...you are the man when it comes to knowing everyones contract....maybe you could get paid as much work as you put in.

You guys in a keeper league?

I never draft any good pitchers....all hitters...try and get one decent pitcher around the 4-5 th round......i always pick up free agents who have 2 starts. Works pretty well i must say. I been playing since 01 and have 3 titles. Sometimes it backfires around playoff time. Just have to make a trade before trade deadline to get a starter. But now alot of people in our league try and copy that......gotta be ready on mondays once the lineup gets locked to drop and pickup for the next week.....back in the old days, you used to have to do research who would have 2 starts. Now cbs added the stupid 2 start link to help the lazy ones/copy cats out.

In our league players unlock at the end of each day, so your tinkering with your lineup daily, but the two start pitchers on monday is always a scramble for most guys trying to get as many as posibble with a 12 pitcher max for the week.

It's not a keeper league, but the same guys playing from last year mostly. This is only my second year in this league, but it might have been going on longer.

I like fantasy because you learn about players you might had never heard of otherwise......this year? Jose fernandez from florida........i picked him up a few weeks back and hes a stud. I actually watched some of his game yesterday. He faced garrett cole of the bucs. I had both on my team. 2 good young arms right there. But fernandez was nasty yesterday. His curve really moves.

Exactly, that's why we can play matchups or guys get injured on a monday or tuesday etc etc you can change them out when they unlock after that day.

DD and al Avila were down in Toledo today. presumably to see Bonderman who threw 2 scoreless innings. Now sitting at only a single hit in 6 games . Downs should also be ready to return any day. Guessing Reed goes down for Veras. That leaves Bondo as the fall back should Al not be able to throw strikes.
