So Detroit needs the Giants to beat the Redskins to make the playoffs

No all Detroit has to do is beat the Packers next week and they will win the division, I think?

Dallas beating Detroit is great news for the Redskins. This now means that if the Redskins win against the Giants, they get the 6th seed. With the Giants being locked into the 5 seed, we could see the reserves after the 1st quarter.

They might do what Dal just did and play like it's a playoff game to maintain momentum. If that happens the skins are out.

This is true. I haven't seen any official statement from them yet saying how they will handle the game with the starters. I assume they would still play the first half at the very least but after that IDK.
