Atlanta has really tailed off from their fast start to begin the season. I'll be happily surprised if they can win. Another positive about this matchup is Carolina plays Atlanta on Friday.

I'm hoping Atlanta can stun the rags and come out tired for the canes.The other positive is if carolina can win out in regulation they hold the tie breaker on the rags meaning the rags would have to beat us to get in

Hopefully seeding will be settled by Saturday. Maybe Tampa would sit Stamkos & St. Louis. One can always hope right?

Callahan is done for the year so that helps a bit. Kovalchuk scored 30. With the slow start I really didn't think it would happen. How do you think Lou is going to handle Parise's RFA status?

Lou is usually hush about things I know shutting parise down was not contract related they just didnt want to take any chances.Fortunately Zubrus is ok after getting reefed into the stantion tonight.Looked A lot worse live than the replay I just saw

Good to hear Zubrus is okay. You realize I'm still bitter about the Robert Nilsson pick. Anyway I hope Parise is resigned. Lou better make sure Lemaire comes back as well.

They took Montoya top 10 as well. He's finally been given a chance with his third organization.

Sorry to say it but the Rangers farm system is very good right now. Look at their kiddie corps blueline.

I knew who you were talking about. I saw a kid the Devils drafted in the 3rd round 2 or 3 years ago last year in the Memorial Cup. He played for Brandon the same team Hamonic, Schenn, Calvert & Glennie played on. His name is Alexander Urbom. He's a Defenseman who I think is going to be another good player for the Devils in a year or two.
