He got down early and then stayed alive. How often have you seen him go 0-2 and just strike out? He hung in there and then finally dumped one to RF. Don't care if he was lucky, but he didn't give that AB away like he has so often this year.

How about fortunate or lucky AB? He swung at 4 balls which weren't strikes; maybe 5. One em - actually the most outside the zone of any of them - just landed fair.

He's just got to become more disciplined at the plate IMO.

Does it strike you, anyone actually, that Choo would be a perfect spray hitter since he's got such a good eye and excellent bat control. Why does he insist on being a pull hitter?
