Game Thread: Denver Broncos @ Las Vegas Raiders

The season is over for us. When that is the case.....rivalry games mean more IMO.

True the season is over but those players are auditioning for next year now. Other coaches around the league along with Antonio Pierce will be watching and seeing who's given up. I think most players know if they don't show out during this time, it could mean their careers.

Have to admit. Never like playing division teams. Even worse on the road. Especially when Denver comes off big victories. Denver had a nice win against the Raiders then the next week looked like utter dog crap for 3 full quarters at home against the Chargers.

This one is on the road and I'm sure the Raiders will be ready.

Division games are always hard to predict. The Browns knocked off the Ravens earlier this year. Any team can beat anyone and all bets are off for a division game.

Correction. It's Broncos-Raiders week and we're all gentlemen here.

I know we're all on the same page with a joint agreement. The Broncos get to beat down your Raiders to keep us in the playoff hunt and the Raiders get to suffer the beat down to keep you in the top draft position for a quarterback next year. Deal?

Honestly I don't mind. Shedeur is a fine QB but I'm not sure the Raider situation is a great one. I think a lot of the top tier coaches will avoid that situation. Bad ownership, bad roster, not a ton of cash money to spend. I'll be interested who they hire as their next head coach though. WE have seen here in Denver how much that matters to a young QB. If they hire a defensive guy I will say that there is a good chance no matter who they bring in at QB that they will bust.

Haha oh goodness. It would be quite the show for sure. Not sure if it would be a train wreck or not, but either way it would be fun to watch. Wouldn't surprise me to see Jerry Jones throw as much money as possible at Sanders to get him away from Colorado and if they have a top-5 pick have the promise that we are going to draft your son no matter what I think that would be enough to get it done.

I'm a CU Buffs fans - so sad for me - if Shedeur becomes a Raider. Bo Nix is several levels better as a pro QB than Shedeur is in IMO. Shedeur wants to be Russell Wilson type QB who runs around and throws downfield.

I hate the fact that everywhere I look, national media pundits are predicting the Broncos will win with ease against the Raiders. It's that kind of narrative that is often a harbinger of very bad things to come. I sure hope the Broncos are ignoring all of that fodder but I'm sure the players down in Vegas are stewing on it.

Gotta handle our business, as the better team. Can't let division rivalry get in the way. Unfortunately, I think this game is going to be close.

I think this young Broncos team would be less prone to that kind of let down. More than that though - I think this group of players think they have something to prove.
