Who is maybe an unknown player right now that you think could develop into that household name in the next year or two?
Zenner. I'm not so patiently waiting for Bell to get out of the way and leave us with two rookie RBs. He looked great in preseason. UDFA kid, tailback.

Kyle Van Noy was a guy I was very high on last year in the draft...How has he looked? Same question for Darius Slay
Don't know how VanNoy looks, he never, ever plays. Missed half the season last year, got behind and lost in the shuffle on an excellent defense. He hasn't played yet this year. I was high on him coming out too. Looking forward to him playing and contributing, someday. We could seriously use him with Levy out.

Slay got to be the #2 corner last year. And did a bang up job. He's going to be forced to become a legit number one this year (Mathis is looking his age)or the pass defense will suffer. Longterm I think he will be a helluva player.

Now that Calvin Johnson is turning 30 are you still seeing the same dominant force that has been the unanimous best receiver in football or is his heavy workload slowing him down just a bit?

He has dealt with small injuries since the beginning of last season. His biggest issue now is his OC. We haven't completed a pass over 20'yards downfield yet this season. And we don't use short, quick slants which made up a great deal of CJ yards. His longest career reception was on a three yard slant.

Did you like the hire of Jim Caldwell?

Nope! Didn't at the time. Don't now. But I hate Joe Lombardi. The two have successfully smothered a once dynamic offense. With improved talent. Hard to do.

Any news injury wise as I saw that Ansah, Levy, and Pettigrew all did not practice? How is Ngata coming along from his injury?

Pettigrew is out. Which hurts. Especially Stafford. I mean physically Stafford will hurt because of the lack of a blocking TE. Same as last week, only worse, given your prowess at smushing QBs. No idea what's up with Levy, they won't talk aboot it. Rumors flying. No clue when he will return tbh. Hamstrings the defense without him. Best tackler, best lb in coverage and a leader. Ngata is fat and old.

Anyway again thank you for answering the questions. Just don't get enough chances to talk to some of you guys from the NFC with so few games.

Use fan duel. I like how their site is set up, paypal deposits and withdrawals make it easy to get your winnings. Two weeks ago I ade a $25 deposit, and let's just say I went from 5 $5 games to entering over 50 games this week with money to spare. It's a lot of fun, even got my girlfriend doing it.

What do you mean good fortune? How about the insights LGM gets served up to him over here for free - that he then tries to profit from what we taught him - yet he doesn't want to share the profits? That about sums him help.

Thanks for the response. Have to agree on the Jim Caldwell hiring. The only thing about that hire that I liked was that I thought he would bring some discipline to the franchise. Beyond that I watched him with the Colts just not do anything that impressed and then with the Ravens to get fired as their OC just seems like a guy that can bring about an average team. Not bad enough to get you a top-5 pick but not good enough to win you the Super Bowl.

Anyway very excited for the game. Even with the Lions 0-2 I definitely think this is still a very tough win for the Broncos. Stafford is a guy that can have a huge game out of nowhere so I'm just hoping this is not that week.

I think this game tonight will tell us a lot about the character of this team. My guess is they will respond with the best performance of the year on both sides of the ball.

The most important thing about this Broncos team for me is - how eager I am about wanting to watch them perform - like tonight. At the end of Shanny's tenure - at the end of Fox's tenure - you didn't know what emotional tenor the team would show up with on any given night. This team is having fun - and as a fan I am digging it.
