That's right fellas......This isn't going away......I wouldn't be shocked in the least if Denard gets drafted before Teo......Again it has to do with talent and speed......

Maybe Denard in the 3rd to stretch the field like Matty Pimp is suggesting.....One thing is for sure, He's fast and not just 40 time fast. That kid can run the 100.......That's stretching the field. His hands have to be better then Pettigrews (1st round pick) plus stretch the field.

I'm ready for the haters....Come get me.....GRRRRR!!!!:exploding:

IF they use him like Pitt used to use Kordell Stewart.... as a SLASH player, I would be all for it. He would be great because defenses would never know what he was going to do. Run a route, take a hand off, drop back and pass? Maybe take a hand-off and then pass? Love the idea.

However, it would all depend on when they draft him. 1st through 3rd? Sorry. I just think the Lions have other players they need to get. I would rather see Barrett Jones in the third.

If he slips and they take him in the fourth? I love it.

All this talk about BPA then becomes nonsense......This kid has talent. All you Michiganders saw it.......If Denard isn't drafted in the 3rd round or earlier I'll eat crow......I'm that guy........I know there's a few that want that so bad and I will come back and eat it......But first please tell me who you are before the draft. I only want to eat crow in front of company that knows more then me.

Denard is one of the all time "Michigan Men" ever. Loved watching him once he tucked the ball, I agree he has elite skills in the open field, I just don't see him going in the first three rounds, especially to Detroit. Had he switched position at the beginning of the season and done well...........possibly laaaaaate first early second, he's just too much of an unknown as to how to use him and what he is really capable of. GO BLUE!!!!!!

Arn't all college prospects unknowns? No one knows what they will do on the next level. I'll take my chances with Denard that has proven himself every saturaday against decent competition over Fisher that played in the MAC....Who did he prove himself against? EMU, Ball ST. WMU (sorry smiity)....The fact is Denard is good, lots of other guys don't have the film or competition to compete...

I'm not advocating Denard be a QB.....Heck if he can line up outside and just sprint 50 yards down field that will give CJ only 2 on 1 coverage...Just the threat of someone beating you over the top will take pressure off Calvin.

I would compare denard to a percy harvin/antwan randle el/brad smith type, but all shoelace really has is speed. He is severely undersized. IDK if he can take a beating in the NFL

He's just as big as the guys you mentioned. The only reason people are saying he "Can't" is because they havn't seen him do it.....I'm pretty sure Coaches and GMs brought him and found out he "Can"......

This kid is going in the first 3 rounds....Heck Tebow went in round 1....He's still in the NFL....Someone is going to take a chance on Denard and he will offer a team something Tebow never had....Speed.

Hard to take anyone seriously who'd rather have their homer favorite than a guy who is quite possibly the highest rated player in the draft.

Robinson has a ton of talent, but he's a huge unknown at his new position. I think he'll do great as a WR/RB and return specialist. He's just damn good with the ball in his hands. But I'd also be very surprised if he goes in the 1st 3 rounds.

Now if he's still on the board with the two picks we have close together in the late 4th/early 5th, then I'm all for adding him. He could back up Reggie Bush for a few years while adjusting to a new position and league, and help stretch the field on passing plays in the mean time. I also think he'd be a great return man from day one.

I honestly hope we get him, just not in the 3rd. Too much talent in this draft to be reaching for anyone...

I thought Denard would fall far too, but he has been getting a lot of good press recently, I would not be shocked at this point if denard went late third early 4th.

Sounds like Ansah that people want with the 5th overall pick.

Denard is great, will be a contirbutor in the NFL, but it's hard to pick him before the third. The team that takes him will be drafting a puzzle more than a piece of the puzzle. The right coaches will figure it out.

I'll be pumped if we get Denard with that comp pick that we got via Eric Wright leaving for Tampa...

I would be pumped too, since he'll be off the board atleast 20 picks before that.
