Cowboys Stadium has to have been built on an Indian burial ground.

I hope Tyron Smith can get some opponents off the field when the season starts.

Looks like he'll be back just in time for the NFC East teams. If he comes back in shape and ready to play it won't be too bad. But with no real practice time he's not going to know the defense too well. We have a lot of DL around right now. We need some of them to do what we are paying them for. Problem is Spencer won't likely be ready week 1 either and who knows what the deal is with Okoye. I think Crawford is now a DE for sure on early downs.

Maybe ..just maybe, Somebody gets an opportunity and we discover a talent that would have been hidden for another season or 2.

I know I'm reaching but it's all I can do to prevent losing my sanity.

Word is 2 to 3 months. That could mean 1/2 the season. With Ware being a rook and learning the system we may only see what we have in him the final 4 weeks of the season. If he gets his 10 sacks I will have to apologize 10 times over for complaining about picking him.

Of all the dlinemen we have , RDE is sort of slim . Mincey, I had read was this yrs version of Will Allen, meaning some people thought he would be cut as soon as Dlaw was ready. Martez WIlson has some good qualities but he prefers the 3-4 defense supposedly. I have read that WIlbur could line up there in sub packages

That's ok, our front 7 on D is so unbelievably deep we'll hardly notice he's gone...

Have to wonder, is it the training staff? The medical staff? Is it just a knack for taking guys that are injury prone? I know every team has injuries but this is like 5 straight years of multiple guys being banged up before the season even starts. What gives?

Actually our depth is miles ahead of last year (not to say that comparison means much). IMO, we are kind of deep now on the DL. What we are lacking is top end players, but we made an effort to bring in a bunch of guys who although they may only be "average" to "less than average" types, do at least provide depth.

I don't want to jinx anything but the defense has been dropping like flies. A fracture is a fracture though so he is done for a while. I'm anxious to see how quick Ro McClain returns. A lot of these guys getting nicked up are fighting for jobs.

No clue, but it's probably a little of everything you listed, plus bad luck. At some point when you continue to draft players with injury issues and those players get injured at the next level you need to accept that the strategy may not be the smartest one.
