Defenses This Weekend Must Have Eaten Too Much for Thanksgiving

It seems they just decided not to show up this week. Obviously, Texas A&M - LSU combined for 146 points and 1016 yards (though it was 7 overtimes). However, Oklahoma - West Virginia combined for 115 points and 1372 yards. Ohio State - Michigan combined for 101 points and 968 yards. Clemson - SCar combined for 91 points and 1344 yards. Even Bama - Auburn combined for 73 points and 800 yards. Seems only those Californians played solid defense, though I assume they're just un-American and do not celebrate Thanksgiving.

It was a fun weekend though. And as a Clemson fan, I'm glad Venables took full responsibility for the embarrassing pass defense.

You had 12 players on defense and the stupid referees never called it. Mother Nature wasn't listed on the roster anywhere and she played most of the game.
