Buy or Sell?

They played a great game collectively. We shut down a very good running team today

Stats: UM -21 rush yds/ 196 pass yds
8 sacks by our guys, 8! 3 by RG1 alone

In total they gained 46 yds rushing but we took back 67. Not too far off what the #1 defense in CFB did to UM a week ago

The secondary is concerning to me yet, we dropped quite a few int's, but I saw way too many blown coverages still. When we're playing that well up front for a change giving up 200yds passing illustrates some big issues. If our front stays on track it should be easy to tighten up the DB's.

I'm not quite ready to buy, but my eyeball is getting itchy

Thoughts?

I think they are looking good...however I think it's a bit of a stretch to call michigan a good running team.

Buy. They allowed similar numbers that Michigan State allowed. Negative yards rushing, bunch of sacks en sech. The young'uns are growing up. Now to keep them grounded and continue to improve.

Be that as it may Gardner was Avg 307 yds total offense coming in, 78th after playing States defense, yeah they're not top 10 but between DG and DF mostly they have over 1500 yds on the ground. Point is we still played them on par with a the top ranked defense in the country. For an entire 4 qtrs, not just 2 or 3

I honestly thought if we play called like we did last week, Gardner was in for a long day, and they did. Don't get me wrong, we played great defense, I am very happy about the negative rushing yards, but Gardner IS their offense, and he is no D Robinson. I am buying this D right now though. The way we played NW and MU makes me confident we can lock down MSU next week. It's the offense I am worried about. Never thought I'd say THAT this year.

6 quarters, that is what drew me back to the kool-aid well. Yeah they aren't Ohio State or Baylor but I watched those games and I saw tackles and flying to the ball that I haven't seen in quite a while.

And honestly we're in the Big Ten. If we can be awesome amongst the mediocre then I can be happy until December. Then if we go in to Indianapolis and not get embarassed then I am happy this year.

That will be a lot more than I expected 4 games in this season.

And I have been one of the loudest calling for Pelini's head but I will back him if we don't get embarrass and make the ccg.

With the injuries and the youth if we compete....

go bo one mo.

Do you mean if the players called the D, like last week?...

Don't care who is making the calls as long as they are called as they have been the last 6 quarters.

I say we lay off the predictions and let see how this roller coaster rides.

I'm happy they stepped up but let's how next week goes. bc next week will be it...win were going to indy lose big coach question comes up.

Also point to note Bo hasn't only lost 4 times when up at the half. which mean if we start fast and set the tempo we have a better chance to win
