A super mobile QB that may or may not be able to throw could totally wreck his stat line. Jimmy G kinda stinks at QB but he is still a functioning QB.Hes sees the qb change coming….
You think SF is fetching a Hill package or more?A super mobile QB that may or may not be able to throw could totally wreck his stat line. Jimmy G kinda stinks at QB but he is still a functioning QB.
If I'm a team like the Saints and Im going all-in this year, I'd go after Deebo instead of a QB tbh. Really all of the teams that lost out on Watson and Hill should be in this race
Deebo is about two years younger than Hill. I think the Niners should be able to get a 1st round pick outside of the top 13 or so players. You think SF is fetching a Hill package or more?
Could also lead him into a path of injury.A super mobile QB that may or may not be able to throw could totally wreck his stat line. Jimmy G kinda stinks at QB but he is still a functioning QB.

Niners already put him on that path by using him as an RB. In real value terms, guys like Deebo and Lamar Jackson are amazingly valuable...but only for the next couple of years.Could also lead him into a path of injury.
Exactly!A super mobile QB that may or may not be able to throw could totally wreck his stat line. Jimmy G kinda stinks at QB but he is still a functioning QB.

If the reports are true and Deebo is wanting a Hill-like contract, he can go ahead and pack his bags.Deebo is about two years younger than Hill. I think the Niners should be able to get a 1st round pick outside of the top 13 or so players.
Jets could offer #10 and that would be a bit of an overpay but if you're the Jets then why not?
They would give up picks in a heartbeat...not gonna pay him $20M-$25M/year. Don't worry the Jets will come swooping inBrowns have any picks left?
They could get Wilson, London or Olave at 10 so that doesn't make sense of 4 years on a rookie contract + 5th year option rather than giving up a 1st and paying Deebo $20M/year....but this is the Jets we are talking about. For other teams it makes more sense. I think the 49ers can get a mid to late round 1st + more for him though. If the reports are true and Deebo is wanting a Hill-like contract, he can go ahead and pack his bags.
IIRC, Hill got the Chiefs about 1300 in chart value. The 1.10 pick is worth a little more than that, so the Niners should be ok getting it for Deebo.
Then again, in this year's draft is 1.10 really that good a pick to have? The Jets could offer similar value by giving up the 2.35, 2.38, and 3.69. Would the Niners rather have that? I have no idea.
Expensive bird in the hand vs. cheaper option of unknown quality. If I were the Jets, there is no way I'd offer 1.10 for Deebo, but like you said, they were ready to pay that and more for Hill, so who knows. They could get Wilson, London or Olave at 10 so that doesn't make sense of 4 years on a rookie contract + 5th year option rather than giving up a 1st and paying Deebo $20M/year....but this is the Jets we are talking about. Ohh for sure. He wants BIG money and guaranteed. I could see a DeShaun Watson type of guaranteed money for Deebo especially if traded to the Jets.Expensive bird in the hand vs. cheaper option of unknown quality. If Deebo only wanted 20M/yr, he'd already have an extension in SF. It'll cost well more than that.
Pick 10 is good to have although maybe not for the Niners. OT and EDGE could still be good value there. Maybe Stingley, Kyle Hamilton or a top WR. I personally think a team would want the mix of later round picks over the one big pick. Jets included. If the reports are true and Deebo is wanting a Hill-like contract, he can go ahead and pack his bags.
