Boomer and Simms Out At CBS

Unfortunately, these guys got old and were no longer very interesting commentators. I hate to say that, but they basically aged out of this gig. They had good runs as broadcasters.

As a game commentator, I liked Simms a lot more when he was with Dick Enberg on NBC and Greg Gumble on CBS.

For whatever reason, I just couldn't stand the combination of Nantz and Simms, which was unfortunate, because they did a lot of Steelers games.

I stopped watching all the pregame shows years ago, well before Simms went to the CBS show.
