Why did God let the Marlins get trounced tonight after the miracle HR? Is he losing interest in baseball miracles?

The take from the opposite side of the plate was scripted, the ball was scripted and you better believe that meater right down the middle was scripted.

Take a look at the video again. I will know if you guys are suffering from cognitive dissonance or not.

As you can see in the video, Bartolo Colon didn't miss location as the catcher held is glove right in the middle of the strikezone.

How often do you see a catcher hold his location in the middle of the K-zone??

@Chewbaccer @redseat @Mondo Jay @moxie @BigFin @DetroitFan* @Villain @MDX @Shanemansj13 @The Derski @Lucas

Video isn't working -

And we obviously are going to have a difference in opinoin, but be honest, who cares? It's a great feel good story. To even think you are right doesn't change a thing. It's still great for the Marlins, the sport, and it's a great tribute to one hell of a teammate and baseball player.

And you believe Gordon? That it was "a miracle from God?"

Gimme a break. :L

Did I say I believe Gordon?

I don't know what it is, but again, who cares? It's a great moment for baseball, and a great tribute to a fallen teammate.

Am I the only one smart enough to realize this?

Or is this just another example of cognitive dissonance?

OP thinks he's so fucking smart because he learned an 11th grade psychology vocabulary word, that, by the way, he's not even applying correctly.

Why are you so infatuated with God's perceived role in Gordon's home run?

Infatuated? Try harder.

Dee Gordon said atheists should start believing in God because the HR was a miracle from God.

I disagree.

Simple enough for you?

it bothers me that people even jump to this conclusion immediately. Just let it be something great instead of trying to tear it down

Gordon's comments make the event scripted now? Or are you curtailing the discussion away from that into a religious debate?

He claimed it was a miracle from God.

He did.

I'm disagreeing.

You guys are dense as fuck or salty about something. Which is it?

Or do you believe Almighty God lifted that ball out? That's it, isn't it? :L

I don't really care what got the ball out of the park. If Gordon wants to believe God did it, I don't give a shit. He can believe what he wants to believe. He lost his friend and maybe this makes him feel better.
