Ya, I never understood why or how Jim Rome got to be where he is, he's a smug, arrogant, dick!
I use to listen to his show when I was at work because it was the only sports talk on. he stretched a 1 hour show into 3 hours, by constantly repeating himself. He would read a letter from one of his lame "clones" and then laugh and say "he said" then repeat the whole letter that he just got done reading to us!

Haven't heard about him in a while, thanks so much for bringing him up, so I can hate him all over again!

He started out in the San Diego market on XTRA Sports Radio 1090 am that also aired in the LA market in the 80's BOSS.

He had a schtick that worked at the time because he was so different from the other sports jocks back then.

About the time of his infamous run in with Jim Everett, he was probably at his height in popularity even though he has done well over his career since.

He showed his true colors that day and has been known to many as a horse's ass ever since.

SJ, I hope Davis has a huge game, we just seem to struggle against scrambling QB's.

Nothing personal but if you go with Kap I hope he sucks, if you go with Davis I hope he has his biggest game of the year. I guess in the big picture, I hope Kap sucks either way!
