Not surprised by any of this, Dan Boyle would cost too much and Marty Havlat hasn't done enough - and the Sharks need to shore up the D, I know Brent Burns was good at forward but they need his presence on D

Not a surprise at all. Boyle has clearly lost a step (or three) and isn't the same player anymore. Havlat has been often injured and never really found his niche with the team. Forget him going to the tough areas on the ice, he got hurt just trying to get on the ice

With Boyle leaving it makes sense for Burns to switch back to D. We'll need the offense from the blue line.

Havlat has become practically useless the last few years. Too many injuries. Moving Burns makes sense, but they need to replace the offense he chipped in somehow.

A full season of Tomas Hertl should alleviate some of the offense lost by Brent Burns going back to defense

Unless he goes to the Kings or somewhere like that
