How many times does someone have to say this. It isn't our running backs. The Bengals offensive line is garbage when it comes to run blocking.

He's ok, he's not great. He needs a good running game to balance him out. you take away AJ Green and he's just average at best.
Gruden needs to be HC here next year. Make Marv GM or president of personel or some shit.
Give the Bears defense some credit, though. They play a typical/traditional cover 2 style. When the played the Rams, they went into a zone/blitz often lining up 8 or 9 guys on the line and then backing away pre-snap and sending an extra blitzer, often the safety, to pressure the Rams' OL, which by the way isn't very good at all.
However, facing the Washinton defense without several of its best players is hardly reason to throw a parade over Dalton' stats. They were good, and they should have been against that defense.
The real test will be as the year goes on, will he continue to get better against the better defenses, or will he regress and be what we saw last year against Pitt and Balt?
What scares me the most about Dalton isn't anything skill related. It's the likelihood we lose Jay Gruden after this year. I feel like if Gruden sticks around, Dalton could grow and possibly flourish in this offense. With a new coordinator coming in, I'm a little skeptical
Dalton will eventually solve the defenses of GOOD teams and when he does ALL those that continue to say he is crappy against the good teams come and give him some praise for growth..
It's only his second year, he could get a lot better.
