Missing Trent Williams is a massive blow to what that team does, especially facing elite pass rushers. Also, this last game, the defense was not great. Those 2 int's were really bad though. Reminiscent of JimmyG.

This hasn’t aged very well. Purdy is a solid front running game manager propped up by a roster, a run game, and a defense. The defense is leaking a little oil this year and he doesn’t seem to be able to chase the game. He can be an integral piece that contributes to a win. He’s not a top 5 or even top 10 QB who can carry his team with him being the most important piece.

Been saying this for quite a while... let's also not forget that defenses figure out QBs pretty quick in the NFL as well. Geno Smith got figured out (he looks like trash mostly this year, I get he got the comeback win yesterday but once the 2 drive script went out the door he did fuck all but basically give the game away).

Anyway, Purdy is surrounded by weapons all over the place, a competent line, and an elite D and yesterday he was roasted. It drives me nuts just like Jimmy Garporolrorlrorlrol all the stupid ass sports media trying to hype him up like he's going to be the next coming of Tom Brady. Give me a fuckin' break.
