Had 20 seconds to set up a play and that's what they did? Parsons has no excuse for missing that shot.

I didn't think it was that tough of a loss. It's game 1 and we have 7 new players trying to come together. It's going to be hard to beat any team when they shoot over 50% from behind the arc. This game showed me what I already knew. This team is deep and will be a force in the West.
I wish RC would've called a TO there though. Dirk was too unselfish and Parsons needed to rotate the ball 1 more time. The shot was close to going down though.

I live in San Antonio. When I joined this board, I didn't want people to hate me, so I hit Mavs on my avatar. People think I'm a troll anyway, so I showed my true colors. I'm a diehard Ranger fan and Cowboy fan tho and I have nothing against the Mavs, except that they put no effort into the draft. It's not smart.

Ok so I wasn't complete senile in thinking you were a Mavs fan. All good if you're a Spurs fan. I always did enjoy watching Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood and the HemisFair Arena back in the day.

I use to go to every Spurs game for a buck back in the ABA days. Iceman, Larry Kenon, Swen Nader, James Silas and Mike Gale. Those were fun games to watch. But left SA in 1976 and when I got to this area later on I picked up the Mavs as my favorite as I prefer to root for the local teams. I appreciate Pops and Duncan. Could not care less about the rest.
