Spezza and Kovalev are really starting to develop some nice chemistry.

Yeah, I know. It's good though because it gives the Sens 2 good scoring lines and 2 really good grinder/checking lines.

Regin is the glue that holds Spezza and Kovalev together I think though.

Another win for the Sens. That's 6 out of the last 7 so they're starting to get going.

Thursday will be a big test.

P.S. No free pizza for Dacks btw. Close but no cigar...lol

I don't think so.

Up in Ottawa there's Pizza Pizza or Boston Pizza. The latter being way better imo.

I booed at the end. In fact, I was cheering for the Thrashers to pull within two on their last powerplay, so that maybe they would pull their goalie and increase my chances at pizza.

I also chanted pizza all third period.

Some comments (from a non-Sens fan):

Did it look pretty passive on TV? It was nice to see goals, but the game seemed to lack intensity. Maybe it was just Scotiabank, it was really quiet.

Kovalev never plays with any urgency. It's like he's not even moving out there. He wants to dangle standing still. Amazingly, you still hold your breath when he loads up that wrister in the offensive zone.

Karlsson looks like a good player, Foligno had some nice plays too. Spezza had a good game, but some of the other fans were really on him for any mistake, his fault or not. Guess there's some mixed feelings on the guy.

Great to see Gonchar score!

Thrashers bring nothing of interest, which I could have gone to the Canucks on Thursday (my friend won those tickets in a different raffle but is taking his wife).

Finally, time to go give my gf that thrashing I promised in the thread title, goodnight!

Oh, and I also couldn't help sing this song through the third period:

Totally hypnotizing.

Meh...that's Ottawa for you. Weekday game against Atlanta is never going to be too loud.

I thought the Sens played very well the first 2 periods and then very passive in the third period. That's how it looked on TV to me.

Kovalev never plays with any urgency. It's like he's not even moving out there. He wants to dangle standing still. Amazingly, you still hold your breath when he loads up that wrister in the offensive zone.

Kovalev has been playing a lot better lately. Even tonight he had 6 shots or something. He's been skating better lately and him and Spezza have really seemed to click.

At times he does tend to stand around though but it's been better lately.

Karlsson looks like a good player, Foligno had some nice plays too. Spezza had a good game, but some of the other fans were really on him for any mistake, his fault or not. Guess there's some mixed feelings on the guy.

Karlsson is starting to get his confidence back. When he's on his skating is incredible. One of the best pure skaters I've ever seen.

Spezza is just the whipping boy. For whatever reason he still has a reputation of turning the puck over a lot and being weak defensively. I've found that he's really turned himself into a really solid all around player the last couple years. I don't know what he looked like live but to me he's playing much smarter hockey. There really shouldn't be a whole lot of complaining when he's scoring 2 goals and getting 3 points though...lol

Great to see Gonchar score!

He's been really helping the power play. With him on the point it gives Spezza and Alfredsson so much more room to work with. I suspect they'll have a top 10 power play this year because of him.

Thrashers bring nothing of interest, which I could have gone to the Canucks on Thursday (my friend won those tickets in a different raffle but is taking his wife).

The game on Thursday would have been much better. There will be lots of Canucks fans in the building and it will be pretty loud I suspect.

I had a feeling the game tonight might be a cakewalk though and I was right.

Finally, time to go give my gf that thrashing I promised in the thread title, goodnight!

It's all about Seniore's in San Francisco. I'm not a big pizza guy, but for a non-gourmet dish, it's damn good.

Never tried Seniore's, but I often still wake up, mouth watering, thinking of Blondie's pizza in San Fran / Berkley.

Is Cybelle's still around out there? They were pretty awesome, when you ordered a slice, they got out some dough, shaped it into a triangle, topped it and threw it in the oven. Yeah, your slice took 8 minutes. But wow.

Dammit. Now I wanna go back to the bay.
