Seahawks say they won't officially confirm any roster moves till tomorrow, but those tweets pretty much tell the story. He has been released.

I think a part of this is salary as well. We got some major decisions with serious money involved coming up. This could one of those painful cuts we all knew were coming.

I really hoped that Robinson wouldn't be one of the cuts, especially seeing how Ware and Coleman fared at FB. Coleman is serviceable, but Ware is just a project that needs to learn how to lead block. Not only was he huge as a lead blocker, but he provided some positive veteran leadership on the team. I always liked him (even when he was a 9er), wish him the best.

He was always "the one that got away" back when Singletary said he was placing a special onus on ST only to cut our ST ace and Pro Bowler. I wish him well. He was a good dude.

I wonder if that viral infection he's dealing with is more serious than was being reported.

I'd say 50/50 chance he's back in the fold once he's healthy. For a discount of course.

Im glad Robinson got cut, and I called this back on the ESPN board and everyone gave me crap about it (like usual).

Robinson was overpaid and didnt add much to the offense. He dropped too many passes here in seattle to be counted on for anything besides blocking and I believe he was overrated in that department.

Basically there are only so many players that you can get away with OVERPAYING.

The hawks are overpaying: Bryant, Harvin, Rice, Miller, and MRob. At least one of them had to go. The Hawks are already going to have to let some of our young talent leave in FA because they overpaid Harvin.

We need to be able to rollover some cap space to next year and we were right up against the cap before cutting Robinson.

Good move Hawks, although they only had to make this move because they overpaid other players.

Except that you guys ASK FOR IT.

When you guys call me an idiot for a suggestion or prediction that I make, WHY WOULDN'T I bring it up?

If people had said, "That's a fair assesment but I hope he stays" then I dont have much of a reason to bring it up.

But when im right 99/100 times, and you guys are wrong 99/100 times but you still insult me, then yes I will absolutely bring it up.

Here's my advice: learn to see things correctly in advance. It works for me.

Learn to see things like a GM instead of just a fan.

I look at it like a GM and thats why im only wrong a couple times each decade.

You guys look at it from a fan's perspective and are wrong almost daily.

Trust me, it is FUN to look at things from a GM perspective. It is a lot more fun than blindly cheerleading.

Dang I hope your right.

I don't think he could pass a physical right now so I doubt he'll get scooped up right away. We'll probably be in the mix making him offers once he's ready to play.

Maybe I'm just being optimistic cause I like the guy but I could see us resigning him kind of like we did with Trufant.

I hate to break it to you but you could be right 100/100 times and still no one will give you the praise you crave and obviously didn't get enough of when you were a child as long as you keep acting the way you act.

See here's the thing Briwas, your not right 99/100 it's more like 40/100. You just never remember when your dead wrong. I'd have to disagree with you about Robinson not adding much to the offense, but what he's adds is hard to measure. Yes he may over paid, but I for one hate see him leave.

Can I get a pat on the back when i'm 40/100. I'm usually around 10/100!

Every team has overpaid players. If there's one team that doesn't, please show me. I would rather have an overpaid FB that can run block, pass block and run for a couple of hard earned yards then some cheap FB that can't do any of these. It's all about opening holes for the running game and keeping our QB on his feet.

Harold, 99/100 was only a SLIGHT exaggeration.

It really is about 96/100

In the last decade you could count my wrong predictions on 1 hand.

Its really frustrating, because if I actually had a job with a football team I would mentioned in the same breath as Ozzie Newsome.

The fact that you said 40/100 shows that your memory is really bad and you are bitter about how right I have been and how wrong the rest of you have been.

I dont make predictions about EVERYTHING, I make predictions that I truly believe are correct and I am right 95+ percent of the time.

And it isnt luck either. It is ALL about seeing the pieces and how they fit together.

Yes every team has at least one overpaid player. The hawks have quite a few.

Miller + Rice + Harvin are only worth about $12-14m COMBINED.

Yet the hawks are paying them about $30m total.

When you overpay players THAT MUCH it means you cant afford to pay a FB $2M+.

You can thank the horrible Harvin trade and contract the most though. We will lose good players because of that.
