and Dan-O doesn't get the boot ?

pisses me off about that NON-MOVE

Obviously, noone more irked than me. I think Rudock is under-rated too. A little more work in the training room and he could be a borderline starter in a year or 2. His instincts and poise are very good. Dan O is only going to get worse. I dont see the sense. Hopefully, noone scoops him up as we did spend a draft pick on him so it would be good if we can stash him on the PS.

I thought Wright had a decent preseason, but not really anything special. Stefan Charles is not much better though. That was practically a coin flip once Reid started flaming out before having 1 good game last week.

I am more giddy about Alex Carter getting cut. Came from a nothing program with no real discernible talent. He was nothing but combine numbers. I hate those kinds of picks.

What the hell is the reason for putting Winn there

Waterboy. Also if ZZ gets hurt yet again, Winn will fill the big back role.

Although with Burton on the roster, even that is not necessary. Personally I would have even let Burton go and freed up a roster spot. We kept Orson Charles who is more of an H-back and could easily fill the FB role on the few plays we use one.

Waiting for blood tests to confirm he's actually Andre Fluellen from a parallel universe.

Bit of a risk to move Rudock to the PS but it does pay off. Rudock gets to play opposing QB weekly against the D ones - helps with his reps. He also can be activated to the 53 if need be. Not a bad move.

The one message Quinn has sent that I love seeing.

"If you think you have a roster spot locked up, think again."

Why is everyone so excited about Orlovosky over Rudock? Has everyone already forgotten Kellen Moore and how playing third stringers can make a player look good? Hopefully next year we sign a QB to compete for the backup spot.

Some here and myself feel that if Stafford goes down, neither backup offers a shot at winning. So I'd rather keep the youth on the roster. Granite he's on the PS and get some great reps. He's also more vulnerable there. Don't see anyone signing him, but...

Croc I know you don't visit often. Just wondered if you do fantasy football? We have a opening on a 12 team dynasty league. We're trying to keep it a Lions thing.

Are you saying you're not the this guy at finding a replacement for fantasy football?

That guy looks familiar. I'd probably know who it was if he wasn't wearing a disguise.
